2) Unique Natural History of the Region

 

      to stress the native biodiversity, overlooked species, and rare & endangered species of the region including:

 

         biodiversity of northwest Florida & the northern Gulf Coast

         amphibians & reptiles

         Gopher tortoises

         bats

         scorpions

         dragonflies

         carnivorous plants 

         distinctive ecosystems

         rare & endangered species
