  Over our ten year history through 2014 NWFLEC has received a great deal of public exposure through TV interviews, local cable TV programs, newspaper stories and coverage, and through numerous public presentations.  This page highlights some of that exposure and provides a list of public programs and presentations. 
  Below are photos of recent TV programs and public presentations.  Coming soon, video of past TV programs will be added to this page.
 
(Below) Karl Studenroth hosted two new episodes of "Outdoors with the NW FL Environmental Conservancy"  These programs were about Upland Sandhill ecology, plants & fire; and Upland animals & conservation.  Sandi Chapman & Royce Reagan were behind the scenes filming and editing the program.  In this photo Karl talks about the importance of Gopher tortoises.

  At our first public meeting Art Kimbrough (President & CEO of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce) opened the meeting. 

  Afterwards, Karl Studenroth spoke about the activities and goals of NWFLEC, and the biodiversity of northwest Florida.

  The keynote speaker of the evening was Dr. Bruce Means.  Dr. Means is a renowned ecologist, author and producer and has conducted extensive research and conservation projects across the Deep South, Australia, South America and Africa!     Bruce also spoke about the biodiversity and conservation of northwest Florida
