I
took the photo above of a female Bighorn Ram in the Grand Canyon in 1986. I was hiking
in the canyon and had noticed the ram following me on a ledge above. Eventually the ledge came to an end above the trail
and the ram stood right above me no more than ten feet away. I have several photos of the ram but the striking
way this photo turned out was an accident!
The photo above has been
enlarged and hangs on my living room wall!
The photo below is the
original photo before it was enlarged. The enlargement process changed the photo colors considerably.
